Three Little Words

Good Morning chickies. Hope this finds you all doing well after the weekend. It's yet another HOT day in SW MO. No let up in sight. UGHHHH!!!! I hate the hot hot weather. Stay cool everyone.

Todays card I'm sharing is one that I made the other night, but I'm not really pleased with it. I'll let you be the judge. This might show up at SAS as well as the previous 2 cards that I posted. So be on the look out for your favorite. This card I started out with a piece of SU Apricot Appeal 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, layered with Chocolate Chip, Cameo Coral and Whisper White. SU stamp set used was, Three Little Words. I also used my oval Nesties, Cameo Coral marker, piecer, mat, brads, corner punch and a small circle punch (non SU). Finished off with some dazzling diamonds and ribbon. I'm not yet pleased with the size of Nesties that I used, I think I might change it to a smaller set. What do ya'll think? Change or leave it?

That's it for today..going to pickup my friend Vickie and we are going to stalk the UPS man for our demo orders today. Can't wait to get more stuff to play with. Hope my catties come this week too. Ya'll have a great week. And remember to keep on stampin, it's good for your soul. And as always, thanks for stoppin by and taken a peek.

Spring Friendship

Good Afternoon chickies....I know, don't faint, posting 2 days in a row....and I've got a card to post tomorrow and if things work out right, I'll have a card for the next 7 days. WOOOHOOOO. Well, it's another hot one here in SW MO today. Very breezy though, but still HOT! Some clouds and I hope a little rain, just enough to cool us down. Hope ya'll are having a great Friday and have some great plans for the weekend.

Today, I'm sharing a card I made for SAS. Email me if you want details on the date etc. I will not be posting that information on my blog. Anyways, I started out with a piece of SU Regal Rose...5 1/2 x 5 1/2, this isn't a regular card...I layered Whisper White and Rockability DSP then with Whisper White, I folded a pc in half and put on the Top Note Die, so when you open it up, there is the card. Clear as mud? I'm probably not explaining right, but hopefully you will get the picture. Anyways, the stamp set is SU Season of Friendship, the tree is stamped in Close to Cocoa and Kiwi Kiss for the leaves. I used Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose for the flowers. I used a non SU punch for the flowers, it's a very close match to the flower image. Then finished off with Gold 1/2 pearl stickers and a piece of Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon. I really like how this carde turned out, hope you do to.

That's it for today, thanks so much for stoppin by. Have a great weekend and remember, keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Friends

Hi there chickies. Sorry I've been so absent. Between being gone to a scrapbooking retreat, hubby home, sick dog and I've had a stress headache, not much is getting done. But I hope ya'll have had a great week and stayin cool. It's so blasted hot here!!!!! I think some rain might be coming our way, but we don't need that either. Oh well, good ole mother nature at her best.

Today, I'm sharing a card I did the other night. I started out with a pc of SU Basic Grey textured cardstock for the base (card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2). Made layers with Walk in the Park DSP with some Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White. I used the stamp set "Friends 24-7" with Kiwi Kiss and Basic Grey ink. Punches used were the Corner Punch and the Eyelet Border Punch. You can't see it, but I did do some piercing on the corners. Finished off with some Kiwi Kiss stripped ribbon and a Kiwi Kiss Corduroy Button.

Have you recieved your issue of the new catty yet? OMG, it's so awesome. I love it. The "IN" Colors are so lushious. I can't wait til Monday when I get my goodies. That UPS man better stop early!!!! LOL

Well, that's it for now. Thanks so much for stoppin by, remember to keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Tri-Fold Flowers and Butterflies

Good Afternoon my little chickies. Another warm and pretty day here in SW MO. Tuesday does look like rain though. Oh well, can't have everything I guess...LOL

Todays card is another one that we did on Saturday nite. Now, this one really used the brain cells, not as easy as it looks, at least for the first time doing it. I think the 2nd time will go faster.

We started out with SU Basic Gray Textured C/S, Whisper White and added SU Walk in the Park DSP along with Boho Punch, MS Butterfly punch, SU Butterfly Die, SU Swirls Scibbles sizzlits die, Fleu De something don't remember Punch from EK Sucess, Whisper White Satin Ribbon, Message label was cut out from the Matchbox Bigz Die. The sentiment is from SU Flight of the Butterfly. And last but not least, Black Brads were used as accents on the flowers and butterflies. If interested in the template for this card, please email me, thanks! It's actually a very cool card.

Thanks so much for stoppin by. Have a great Monday. And remember to keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.
