Flower Fold Candle Holder

Good evening ladies. Hope your week is going well. BRRRRR it's cold here in SW MO, I think winter is upon us. Now for the snow!! Let it snow and snow soon!!!

Hubby is home and we'll be busy for the next day or two. Friday nite out with friends for dinner and then Saturday, hubby will recieve his 1 MILLION Mile awards. And then Saturday after noon, stamp camp. I'll be ready to rest come Sunday.

Tonight, I'm sharing a tea light candle holder made with the SU Flower Folds Die. I used some "flashing" that I purchased from Lowe's and E6000 to glue the pieces together. Picked up a small tea light clear glass holder at a local "box" store. That's it! Simple as that!!!
What do you think? Cute or what? I would like to get some spray paint and paint them different colors, will have to experiment with that.

That's it for tonight, have a great weekend. Thanks so much for stoppin by. Remember, keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Metal meets Candle

Good morning ladies. It's NASCAR day!!! Final race of the year. Already looking forward to Feburary when it starts all over again!!!! Hope you have a great Sunday.

Today, I'm sharing a candle wrap that I made using 40gr metal sheet, Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder, sanding block and a few brads. You too, can purchase the directions at http://www.addalittledazzle.com/my_weblog/page/2/ The candles make a great addition to your holiday decorations. And the great thing about these is, you can change out the sleeve for your next home decor liking without having to buy more candles. It's a win/win situation. If you attend one of my workshops, you might find one of these projects that you can make and take home.

That's it for today. Thanks for stoppin by. Have a wonderful Sunday. Remember to keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

NOEL

Good Morning ladies. Hope your Saturday is starting out wonderful. It's a little on the chilly side this morning, hoping it will warm up. Vicki will be here this afternoon after we make a couple of stops at the local "box stores". We have a couple of projects that we want to do today, then I can share them the first of the week.

Today, I'm sharing a 4-box NOEL Christmas decoration. I made this using Taken With Teal (my favorite color this year) and the SU Petal Card Die, made 4 for each box. Then I used some Holiday Lounge and W White to matt the boxes. The letters were made using my Cricut. Then I added a snow flake from a punch I don't know where I got it or when, but I thought it was a pretty snowflake. The Holly is a Sizzix die that I've had for several years. I used Dew Drops for the Berries. And then the little bird, that's SU Embossilit "Merry". And wrapped it all up with Retired Silver Organdy Ribbon. (Wish they'd come out with it again).

That's it for today. Thanks so much for stoppin by. Remember to keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

PPA14 Hope for a Cure

Good Morning ladies. WOW! this is early for me, thanks to my furbabies that think it's time to get up. Their interclock hasn't changed when we changed the time on Saturday nite. Yawn! So I thought I'd get my posting done. It's a brisk morning, but the sun is shining. They say no rain for the rest of the week. Hope your Tuesday is going great so far.

I'm dedicating this card to my best friend who passed away 10 yrs ago to breast cancer. I wished there had been a cure for her. Todays card is for PPA http://www.palspaperarts.com/ The only requirement was your card had to be pink for Breast Cancer Awareness, Hope for a Cure. So I chose Illuminations (retired) HOPE stamped in Melon Mambo. I used Melon Mambo cardstock, W White and a piece of DSP out of Walk in the Park (retired). Cut the H out and popped it up, Ticket punch was used on the corners. Finished off with White Satin Ribbon and some small 1/2 pearls.

That's it for today, thanks so much for stoppin by. Remember those checkups, early detection is an ounce of protection. Remember to keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Holy Triptych Luminaria

Good Afternoon ladies. Hope your Monday is going well. The weather is just beautiful here in SW MO. Great day to have the windows and doors open.
Today, I'm sharing with you something I seen over at SCS, Vicki and I started these yesterday and I finished mine this morning. You can see the orginal poster at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1517055
We sorta followed some of the orginal design colors, but we probably used what we "thought" they were. Of course, for fire hazard reasons, you can not put a regular burning candle in this. Need to use a LED candle.
We used SU Holy Triptych Stamp Set, Whisper White and Vellum cardstock. Stampamajig, Gold Embossing, Black Stazon and various colored SU Markers and Lace Edge Punch, sticky tape and craft knife.
That's it for today, thanks so much for stoppin by. Ya'll come back...keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Happy Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone. Hope ya'll had a safe evening. What a great evening for all the ghost and goblins, especially for this cute witch (Kloe) and angel (Carrie). These girls belong to my BFF Reina and her hubby Tom. But, I'm AUNT LOIS and they will let you know. We had a great time taking the girls for their first time to Trick or Treat. They, along with me, got tired after about an hour or so. It was a beautiful fall day, with NO RAIN. The girls couldn't figure out how come the moon was out and it wasn't dark yet. How funny! Explain that one to 5 yr olds.
Anyways, a great time was had by all. Hope all your little ghosts and goblins had a great trick or treat night and arrived back home safe and sound.
That's it for tonight. Thanks for stoppin by. And again....HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Me and Neil McCoy

Good morning ladies. Having a great day? It's pretty windy here and suppose to rain, at least it's not ice (yet).

Today, I'm sharing a photo of me and Neil Mc Coy. Went to Branson yesterday afternoon and met up with Reina and her DH. We had dinner at Olive Garden (yummy) and then went to Yakaov's Show Palace and watched the Nevada, MO Show Choir open up for Neil Mc Coy. No Doudt About It (one of his songs) he can put on a show. One great entertainer. We had the best time. I'm a fan of Neil McCoy, so it was so fun for me. The Show Choir did an awesome job also, they are very entertaining. Tom is very proud of his students at Nevada, MO.

That's it for today, haven't had time to make a thing the past couple of days, so I'll see what I can get done today. Hubby will be leaving sometime today. :(

Have a great day and have a safe weekend. Happy Halloween everyone. Thanks so much for stopin by, come back now ya' hear. Keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Golden Leaves

Good late evening ladies. Hope you had a great day today. I had a great day shoppin with Vicki again! Boy we can shop!! This was the 4th day in a row I was either shoppin or craftin! I'm tired. Tuesday I'm not going anywhere for no reason...LOL We have a chilly fall night here. A little drizzle but the rain is coming again. I'm hoping to get some fall pictures this weekend.

Tonight, I'm sharing a card I whipped up while watching Dancing With the Stars. I started out with a W White card base, stamped the leaves from Autumn Splendor in Versa Mark then embossed in gold. The trick to this so you can do the cut out is leave about 1/2" from the bottom. I popped up the single leave by the sentiment from Grateful Greetings. Added Chocolate Chip 1" Double Stitched Ribbon and there you have it. Hope you like it. It looks rich IRL.

Thanks so much for stoppin by. Have a great night and remember, keep on stampin, it's good for your soul.

Good Friday afternoon chickies. Hope ya'll are havin a great day with some awesome plans for the weekend. I'm still sick with broncities. I wish it would just be gone! I'll be staying around home out of the wind and chilly air we are having in SW MO.

Today, I'm sharing a card I made for a couple of gals in my 2 yahoo groups that I'm in. It was a fast and easy card to do. I started out with Kraft for the card base, then layered Rich Razzleberry and used Petals A Plenty Embossing folder on Very Vanilla. I stamped the butterfly and sentiment from Great Friend in Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink. Also stamped the butterfly on Vellium. Added the Rich Razzleberry Polka Dotted Ribbon, some gold pearl stickers and cording for the antlers of the butterfly. Easy peasy done.
