Happy Birthday!

Hi stampers! I know "long time no see"....but alot has been going on lately. Of which, I will just for now touch on lightly, ever so lightly. Seems that SOMEONE doesn't like my blog/posts/projects or anything. I was going to give up blogging, but I had a visit with several people regarding this SOMEONE, and I've come to the conclusion that SHE isn't going to run me off here or anywhere else. IF you can't leave a nice comment, then don't leave one at all. I am here to stay, this is MY blog and if SHE doesn't like it, then SHE can just stop coming here. Ok vent over!!!

Now on with my post. We've been having some really cold weather here in SW MO, right now we have snow on the ground, melting, but we have snow! YEAH! And I understand we are probably going to get some more over the weekend, probably not much, but I'll take what we get!!

Todays card that I'm sharing was made for some friends birthdays. I hope they enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed making them. Here are the deets!

Stamps: SU Friends 24-7 and Curly Cute
Cardstock: PTI White and SU Concord Crush C/S
Ink: Concord Crush
Misc: Nesties, Popdots, SU Pearls and Perfect Polka Dots EB Folder, Big Shot and Stamp-a-ma-jig

That's it from me tonight. Hope ya'll had a great Friday and have a fabulous weekend. THANKS so much for stoppin by.

Happy Stampin!
Lois

Lois, I cannot even imagine anyone not liking your work, but don't let anyone keep you from posting. We can't please everyone :). You are an inspiration to those who come to visit your blog. With that said, I LOVE this card! I think blue and white together are so classic and I really like your use of the banner for the sentiment. Lots of great texture in this card. Can't wait to see what you post next!

PS- we got about 12" of snow in our neck of the woods of MO. It's not melting yet :(

I'm sorry you had to deal with a mean person, but as you said this is your blog and you keep posting whatever you like - and I really like this card. The whole card justs pops out at you. This is one of those cards that would get my attention as I'm scrolling through the galleries. I love the simplicity of it.

Thanks for sharing,
Kim

Love the contrast with the White and the Concord Crush. Great job. Also, I love the details of the pearls! TFS!
