Good evening stampers! I hope your Wednesday was a great one. I was a little busy today, grocery shopping, dr appt and lunch with my folks. But I have to tell ya, it's another beautiful day here in SW MO! A little chilly, but not bad. We are to get back in the 80's this weekend.
Tonight, I'm sharing some round boxes that Vicki and I made for our friends up in Kansas City. We made these on last Friday and we traveled to Kansas City on Monday for a Copic Class and to meet our friends for dinner before we came back home. Vicki found the tutorial http://mytherapymycreations.blogspot.com/2010/08/another-box-and-tutorial.html
We did adjust it a bit. The tutorial calls for a 1" box and we wanted one a little bit bigger. Very easy to adjust to any size that fits your needs. We filled them with shredded paper and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (mini size). They were a hit with our friends. These boxes would be a great idea for some gift items or just candy.

Lois, I LOVE these! I read the original tutorial (that was done very well I might add) but I do like them thicker like you made them. Would you mind sharing what the measurements of your strips ended up being to get them that "tall"? I'm not really good at "winging it" when it comes to changing up someone else's tutorial - I'm still a little new and working on that. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for sharing! I am truly inspired!
