Good afternoon everyone! Hope ya'll are having a great Saturday. It's yet another HOT day here in SW MO. I'm so looking forward to fall. I just can't hardly stand the heat as I get older.
Todays card is a simple Christmas card that I'll use in one of my SAS. I started out with a piece of Cherry Cobbler (love that color), then some Old Olive and a piece of Jolly Holiday DSP. Using the Top Note Die, I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla (folded). I cut the edges off the Very Vanilla and layered onto the Cherry Cobbler. I sponged Cherry Cobbler on the Very Vanilla edges. Stamped the tree in Old Olive from Holiday Happiness, then using my stampamajig, stamped the ornaments in Daffodile Delight and Cherry Cobbler. I didn't like the way the star looked at the top of the tree just stamped, so I punched a star from Daffodile Delight cardstock and popped it up with a pop dot. Added some bling and ribbon/bow made with the bow easy. For the inside, I stamped "Happy Holidays" from Holiday Happiness in Cherry Cobbler. I really love the way the card opens up with the top note folded. What do ya think?
That's it for today. Have a great weekend, and THANKS so much for stoppin by.
Happy Stampin,
Lois

Cute idea! I love how you did the Top Note.
Great card, I've been debating on whether to get this card or not.
Thanks for sharing,
Kim
Love the folded Top Note! Great card! Love Cherry Cobbler (paper & dessert!)
This is so cute!
Very cute. I like the pop the Daffodil Delight gives the tree. TFS!
Very nice. Like the color combo.
How pretty, I love the ribbon! I'm seeing lots of Christmas!
Very cute! The punched star and the rhinestones look great.
I like your idea of using the Top Note as the card flap! The tree is very festive!
So cute, love the gems.
Love your card! I would have punched the star out too :), it just gives it that little bit of extra oomph :)

WOW, this is so cute! I love it. I love that you popped up the top note die
I really like how you used the Top Note die here, instead of a traditional 8.5" x 5.5" piece of cardstock folded in half for the card base. Very creative! The bow is lovely!
