Round Treat Boxes

Good evening stampers! I hope your Wednesday was a great one. I was a little busy today, grocery shopping, dr appt and lunch with my folks. But I have to tell ya, it's another beautiful day here in SW MO! A little chilly, but not bad. We are to get back in the 80's this weekend.

Tonight, I'm sharing some round boxes that Vicki and I made for our friends up in Kansas City. We made these on last Friday and we traveled to Kansas City on Monday for a Copic Class and to meet our friends for dinner before we came back home. Vicki found the tutorial http://mytherapymycreations.blogspot.com/2010/08/another-box-and-tutorial.html

We did adjust it a bit. The tutorial calls for a 1" box and we wanted one a little bit bigger. Very easy to adjust to any size that fits your needs. We filled them with shredded paper and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (mini size). They were a hit with our friends. These boxes would be a great idea for some gift items or just candy.

Details....

No Stamps!

Cardstock....Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White and Autumn Spice DSP

Ink....Cajun Craze

Misc...Wide Oval Punch, Swirls Scribbles Sizzlit Die, Very Vanilla 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Scallop Circle Die, Perfect Polka Dots Folder,Little Leaves Sizzlet Die, Chipboard, Sponge and Popdots.

That's it for tonight. THANKS so much for stoppin by. Have a fabulous Thursday!!

Happy Stampin,

Simple Yet Elegant

Good Morning Stampers. I hope you are having a wonderful day so far. It's another beautiful day here in SW MO. The sun is shining and a slight breeze. We could really use some rain though, so if you have rain in your area, please send it to MO, we need it so bad!

Today, I'm sharing a card I made last week. I know I should of shared it then! You know how life just gets in the way. Anyways, it's a very simple but yet elegant card. I started out with Whisper White as the card base, then stamped Season's Greetings from the Holiday Mini Hostess set on Whisper White with Versa Mark then heat set some gold embossing powder on it. Matted/popped up with pop dots on some Cherry Cobbler, added a little bit of ribbon on the Cherry Cobbler then a bow made with Always Artichoke Seam Binding Ribbon.

That's it from me today. THANKS so much for stopping by. Have a great Sunday!

Happy Stampin,
Lois
