Cupcakes, anyone?

Evening ladies, I almost forgot that I had promised I would put up something yummy. Hope your Tuesday has been great so far. It's "spit" snow here most of the day, but nothing of great inches. But it's bitterly cold out. And oh the wind just right through a person. Stayin in as much as possible.
Tonight, I'm sharing "cupcakes". I first saw these over at SCS, and thought they were just too cute and what a great and unique idea for a giftcard giving. You can't see it, but the giftcard is connected to a clip under the "cherry". All you need is some pattern paper, syrofoam ball, lightweight cardboard, lace, a little glitter and paint and a glue gun. We will be making these at Stamp Camp this weekend. I hope everyone loves them.
That's it for tonight. Ya'll have a great day Wednesday, be safe if you are traveling. Thanks so much for stoppin by. Leave me a comment, as always, love to read what ya think of my "stuff".

Flocked Bird

Happy Super Bowl Sunday afternoon. I bet ya'll are gettin the yummy food ready for your guys! Me, I'm not fixin anything, I will watch the game though. Not sure whom I want to win, we'll see about that later with dh. We usually put a small bet on football games. And I usually win, and he never pays up! Not sure what is up with that. Also sitting here waiting for our snow! We are under a winter storm warning until Tues 6 AM, refrid is stocked, so I won't have to get out unless we lost power, then I'd have to go somewhere to stay warm.

Todays card I'm sharing is one we did at SAS, I didn't put a sentiment on it as of yet. Some of the girls used a Valentiney one. I may do the same and give to one of my yahoo group gals. Anyways, I started out with Whisper White c/s and embossed Real Red with SU's Finial Press Embossing folder and cut just part of it for the top and bottom of the card. I also used some Red and White Flocked Paper from Christmas Cocoa DSP in the Holiday Mini. Also used some for the birds wing. The bird is punched from the XL Bird punch (current mini) in Real Red c/s. Used some Old Olive and punched the top edge with the Scallop Trim Punch (SAB) and for the branch.
Last but not least used the bow easy to make the bow with white taffeta ribbon.

Thanks for stoppin by today. I'll have a "yummy" post tomorrow. Can't wait to share it with you. Keep on stampin, it's good for your soul. Happy Stampin and until tomorrow......................be safe!

Brocade Friends

Boy, I'm gettin later and later posting my stuff. Hope ya had a great Wednesday. This is going to be short and sweet.....

Another card from stamp camp. Started out with Brocade Blue, followed by Whisper White, used the Scallop Trim Border and the Scallop Corner punch. Then stamped the border in Brocade Blue from Vintage Vogue Clear Stamps. Used Nesties to cut an oval from Brocade Blue and Bride Speciality Papers. Stamped the F (friends) in Brocade Blue and cut out and popped up.
Aslo stamped the left top corner in Brocade Blue. Tied it all up with a satin ribbon bow made with the bow easy. And final touches with some 1/2 pearl stickers.

That's it for tonight, have a great Thursday. Thanks so much for stoppin by, leave a comment if you would, I love to hear what you think about my cards. Happy Stampin!

Congratulations

Good afternoon ladies, it's been awhile since I posted something. Been a little crazy here, I had that fall, then dh had a semi wreck, he's fine, but his truck is getting worked on before he can leave out again. And I've been busy getting ready for stamp camp and then the snow storm...well you know how it goes, the list can go on forever. Anyhow.............I've seen many of these type cards over at SCS, so I just did my verison of many of them.

Todays, card I'm sharing is one that we did at stamp camp yesterday. Started out with white cardstock, then layered basic black, then white that had been run thru the dots folder. Cut 2 squares in black and white to matt, used white cardstock that had been run thru the dots folder then put into the ex lrg bird punch (mini). The sentiment was stamped in black stazon on white cardstock and matted on black. Used real red cardstock for the heart using our new small heart punch (mini). Added some ribbon and 1/2 pearl stickers. Great card for an anniversary or wedding.

That's it for today, hope you have a great Monday evening and Tuesday. Thanks so much for stoppin by. Happy Stampin!!
