Paint Chip BOO

Happy Saturday chickies. As I said yesterday, I left for KC on Friday afternoon. So this will be short and sweet. It's nice I can schedule my posts.

Todays card, is a little different. I used Paint Chip samples I had gotten from Wal-Mart. I had seen a similar one over at SCS, can't remember who's it was, but this is my attempt. And it's a bad attempt LOL

I used....Autumn Apparitions (retired), Carved Candlight (retired)and a $1.00 stamp (bats) from Micheals.
I used Basic Black for the card base and some Really Rust for the matts. I stamped the images with Black Stazon ink. Popdoted the "Boo" and added some black and white gingham ribbon that I had gotten from a lss that went out of business. Pierced the corners.

NOTE: This is NOT a SAS card for any future SAS classes

Ya'll have a great weekend, I'll be back on Sunday. Thanks for stoppin by.

Had a great dinner and great conversation for a change (long story). And we had a good ole thunderstorm with wind and rain today. Seemed like it was nite time with the dark sky. But it has rained and blown over and humid again. We are to get some more rain later tonight.

Good Sunday afternoon chickies. Hope ya'll had a great weekend. And notice my new background. My thanks to my blog guru Vicki. I love it!!! I love fall and she found just the right background. Sorry I've been MIA, but just been pretty busy.

Today, I'm sharing a double project that we did for SAS on this last Saturday. Everyone loved the projects. We did 8 cards and 2 projects and I'll be sharing them all week with you. I can't remember where I got the butterfly template at, but I just love it.

Materials used:

Stamp Set: Priceless

Cardstock: White, Rich Razzleberry, Cottage Wall DSP

Ink: Old Olive

Misc: Beautiful Butterfly die, Top Note die, Ribbon, Clear Rhinestones, Silver Pearl Stickers, and for the antennas, I used something I found in the wedding isle at Hobby Lobby. They make great antennas, just not sure of what they are called.

I didn't stamp a sentiment on the card, that way the gals could use whatever they needed the card for. I think they both turned out great.

That's it for today...hope you have a fabulous Sunday and a great week ahead. Thanks so much for stoppin by and remember to keep on stampin it's good for your soul.
