Birthday Wishes

Good snowy mornin' to ya'll. We have some snow....and I love it. A PJ day it is. And of course some stampin going on.
Today I'm sharing a card with you that I made in about 15 mins. I started out with Whisper White 5.5" x 5.5" (cut 5.5" x 11" and score at 5.5"). Then I used my Big Dots texturz plate for the background. Got some Cameo Coral and Ruby Red carstock out and used Daisies Flower #2 die to make the flowers, I layered those and added a Filgree Designer Brad. Stamped the sentiment from Elegant Cheer in Stazon Black. And I'm done. Simple and easy. I seen a card like this on SCS....and I just loved it, but the creator used something else for the sentiment. This may be one of my SAS cards in March.
Off to finish my swap cards for regionals on the 7th of March. I can't wait to go. Seems like the time is dragging. But the time there will go faster than I want it to.
Ya'll have a great day....if you are driving, stay safe. And remember, keep on stampin.

Something New...Postcards

Good Morning everyone. I know it's been over a week or so since I posted anything. Life just gets in my way. Hubby was home, had stamp camp, had a migraine headache, and trying to get ready for SU regionals in Lincoln, NE next week.
Today, I'm sharing a post card that I made. I got the "postcard stamp" from ebay. I've recieved several in the mail from one of the gals in my MO yahoo group and I wanted one in the worse way, so now I have it.
I used SU Branch out for the 'scenic' side of the postcard. So easy to do...no embellies, no ribbon, no add-ons. Alot cheaper to send than a card.
So watch your mail box, one might be coming your way soon.
That's it for today. Hope ya'll have a great weekend. And remember, keep stampin.

Happy Valentines Day

Good Afternoon girls. Hope you all are having a nice Valentine's Day.

Today I'm showing you a card I made for my hubby. I used CTMH stamps (not sure of the name), stamped images on PTI white. This card is a 5 1/4 x 5. It's all gold embossed. NO layers. Finished it off with SU retired white organdy ribbon.

Using the largest stamp was tricky. It needed the very large arcylic block, of which I don't have yet, so I took what I had and taped them together so that I could use the large image. Boy it was tricky, but it worked.

I love this set and I hope you like the finished product. I do...hope hubby does.

Have a wonderful day.

Hello everyone. A rainy day here in SW MO. WOW alot of water. 2" of rain so fair. Glad I chose to stay inside today. Everyone stay dry and safe.
I'm going to share with you the cards we made at

We used allot of new items from SU. Oh, the new goodies are wonderful. Ask your bestest (is that a word?) demo about the new items if you haven't already. Get yours today.
That's it for today. Have a great hump day...see you soon.

Finally, 2 cards for today

Finally, I'm on the computer, but headin to bed in a moment. Another beautiful day in MO. A little windy, but the temps are fabulous for Feburary.
The card on the left is a 'man-ly' birthday card. I used Black, Sahara Sand, Whisper White and To the Nines Specialty DSP. OHHH that new DSP is pretty. The stamp sets used are Lovely as a Tree, Happiness is a Journey and On Your Birthday with Black Stazon ink.
The card on the right is a birthday card using SAB Delicate Dots DSP, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White and So Safron cardstock. Stamp set is SAB Polka Dot Punches. The 'button' in the middle is on the Bottons sizzlet. Tied with purple hemp (M's). Elegant Eggplant ink was used.
That's it for the peeks for now. See ya'll Saturday.
Happy Stampin and thanks for stoppin by.

Buzzin by with card no. 4

Good morning. Wednesday, February 4...where o'where did January go. Gosh as I get older the time just flies by. Anyways, hope you all have a great Wednesday "hump day". It's almost Saturday for SAS...how fun is that going to be. FUN!!!!!!
The card I'm sharing with you today is from the SU set Just Buzzin by. I wanted to keep it simple because some of the gals don't like colorin and cuttin much. So this will be an easy one for them. On the left is the inside of the card (I need to learn to download the inside first then the outside). On the right is the outside. I used So Saffron for the card base and Washington Apple DSP for the bottom half. A little ribbon and 3 punches. I think it turned out cute...what do you think? I know ....lame! LOL It's a card you could send just to say 'hi'. No bling except for a little glitter on the bees wings.
That's it for today. I'm getting back to the design table and get more done for Saturday. I'll be leaving a few cards for a surprise. I'm gettin my new stuff on Thursday and I'm planning on using some of the new goodies. See ya on Saturday.
Happy stampin and thanks for stoppin by. If you are new to my blog, please leave a msg so I know you have stopped by....and even if you aren't new, leave a msg anyways. I love reading the comments, good, bad or indifferent.
Have a great day,
Lois

Card No. 3

Good afternoon folks. Hope you are having a great day. It's sunny today, but breezy and chilly out. Looking forward to the weekend for nicer weather.
Anyways, wanted to show you this card. I seen it over at SCS, and fell in love with it. I think I'm so in love with the Pacific Point color this year and not looking forward to it retiring in June. But as they say, all good things must end.
I used Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point ink on Whisper White cardstock. The stamp set is Inspire Nature, which by the way is an awesome set, if you haven't ordered it, do so now and get yours soon. I added a MS butterfly, along with a brad and a touch of ribbon. the center of the card is popped up with popdots. You can't see it in the photo, but I also used the piecer around 2 of the corners. And there is a small rhinestone on the butterfly.
Hope you like the card, it might be a SAS project on Feb 7 at 2PM at Arbys. See you there and remember keep stampin!

Yahoo group cards

Good Monday afternoon. And you thought I wouldn't post! HA!! here it is.

I made these cards for one of my yahoo group. For the Feburary Birthdays and Anniversaries.

I used SU Art of Life with creamy carmel and always artichoke ink. The sentiment for the Anniversary card is from Inkadinkado clear stamps and the Birthday sentiment is from CTMH Happy Birthday.

I also used MS punch for the butterflies and put a couple of rhinestones on them. Easy and quick cards. I hope the gals recieving them will enjoy them.

Hope ya'll are having a great day....keep on stampin.
